STEPHEN ETTINGER PROFESSIONAL CYCLIST  AS A PROFESSIONAL CYCLIST HE TRAVELS NEARLY 200 DAYS/YEAR AND SAYS HE'S LUCKY ENOUGH TO MAKE A LIVING DOING WHAT I LOVE MOST; RACING BIKES. IT ALL STARTED WHILE GROWING UP IN CENTRAL WASHINGTON, WITH ‘FORCED FAMILY FUN TIME’ EXPLORING THE CASCADES.STEPHEN EXPLAINS, “MY PARENTS WERE CLIMBING BUMS WHO MOONLIGHTED AS DOCTORS, AND WE SPENT A LOT OF TIME CLIMBING, BACKPACKING, SKIING AND MOUNTAIN BIKING. BUT MY LOVE FOR THE MOUNTAINS TRULY EXPANDED WHEN I MOVED TO BOZEMAN IN 2007. EXPLORING THE YELLOWSTONE ECOSYSTEM SKI TOURING, TRAIL RUNNING, CYCLING AND HUNTING, WAS ABSOLUTELY THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY TIME THERE.” IN 2012, HE MOVED TO SOUTHWEST SWITZERLAND FOR A YEAR, BUT MISSED HIS FRIENDS AND THE SOLITARY MOUNTAINS OF MONTANA TOO MUCH TO MAKE IT PERMANENT. IN 2012, HE NARROWLY MISSED MAKING THE US OLYMPIC TEAM, AND IN 2013 WON HIS FIRST PROFESSIONAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. SINCE THEN, STEPHEN HAS RANKED AS THE TOP AMERICAN CROSS-COUNTRY MOUNTAIN BIKER, WINNING RACES AROUND THE WORLD, AND IS LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF THE EXPERIENCE. WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND CORRINE, HE MOVED TO BELLINGHAM IN DECEMBER OF 2015, BUT IS STILL ROOTED IN THE BOZEMAN COMMUNITY. LUCKY FOR THE WAGON, WE ARE ON THE LIST OF RELATIONSHIPS HE VALUES. "THERE’S JUST NOTHING LIKE THAT FIRST SIP OF GOOD COFFEE IN MY DAY. NEARLY EVERY MORNING, REGARDLESS OF WHERE I AM IN THE WORLD, THE ROUTINE OF GRINDING BEANS, BOILING WATER AND CREATING THAT CUP IS THE FIRST THING I DO. IT’S ABSOLUTELY CATHARTIC! I LOVE COMING HOME TO TREELINE’S COFFEE WAITING FOR ME ON THE FRONT PORCH; AND TAKING IT ON THE ROAD WITH ME. IT’S A LITTLE PIECE OF MONTANA WHEREVER I FIND MYSELF.”

KIRK BLAKLEY STUDENT, COFFEE LOVER, TRAVELER, ADVENTURER, CLIMBER,HIKER, DIRTBAG, ROADTRIP ENTHUSIAST. I live in a funky little town in the Midwest called Lawrence where the University of Kansas is located. Lawrence is a great little college town with an adventure hungry vibe similar to that of most mountain towns, yet is located 600 miles from any real mountains. Growing up in the Midwest has taught me to love and respect the mountains and to love of road trips. One of my earliest and most vivid memories of being on the road is a family trip to Yosemite. The massive granite walls and serenity of the valley are still fresh in my mind and I can remember being in awe of the rock climbers I would see on the massive walls and thinking how terrifying it must be. In that moment I knew I wanted to climb, yet I never thought it possible. I knew that I had to be one of those terrifyingly small specs on a massive wall. I was drawn to the terrifying heights, the idea of dangling from a wall with just a rope and a few carabiners seemed impossible but I knew I had to try it. I started climbing in gyms a couple years ago and it wasn’t until last spring that I was able to finally get outside on real rock. After that experience I was hooked. Last summer I was able to climb in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Tennessee, and Missouri. I haven’t made it back to Yosemite since that trip, but it still remains at the top of the list, and someday I hope to be one of those tiny specs on a massive granite wall. Trail running and indoor climbing are daily activities to help me get away from the stress of school, and to stay in shape for when I get the chance the travel. Weekend activities often include mountain biking, hiking, bouldering, camping, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking and other water sports. Being a student I have 3 months out of the year where I get to travel the country hiking, climbing, camping, and living the dirt bag life. This year I am spending the Summer Estes Park, CO working at the YMCA Camp of the Rockies as the Climbing specialty counselor, teaching young kids my passion and spending nights camping with friends and weekends traveling the Rocky Mountains. I love Treeline and support their mission to provide responsibly sourced, artisan roasted coffee for people who love to get outside! I excited to partner with a company who not only supports my love for good coffee but also my passion for the outdoors. I love coffee and all the delicacy that surrounds it. The intricate preparation methods, the hands-on approach of grinding the beans yourself, and the motivation you receive to pursue your passions. One of my favorite things to do when camping/traveling is to make a cup of coffee and to sit back and enjoy the sounds, smells, and views of nature.
