PANAMA - FINCA LA GLORIA
CREAMY. TOFFEE. SWEET LEMON FINISH.
It's back! for the 4th season in a row we are proud to bring you the delightful coffee from La Gloria Estate. Last year we had the privelge to travel to Panama and meet with Norberto, La Gloria's owner, and learn all about how he and his team grow and harvest coffee.
La Gloria Estate is a "Baru Indian High" estate in Boquete's Horqueta subregion. All Baru Indian High estates are located in Panama’s Boquete region and have altitudes from 1360 to 2000 meters above sea level. Their soil is of volcanic origin. With temperatures averaging 15 to 22 degrees Celsius, the estates have an average rainfall of 3000 millimeters per year.
La Gloria Estate’s topography is irregular and provides spectacular views of the Baru Volcano. It also has a wide variety of flora and wildlife, including white-neck monkeys, venison, rabbits and several native birds. Four natural springs either originate or run across the estate, which help make the soil rich and well balanced.
