THIS IS TREELINE.
We believe that the ultimate coffee experience is with a coffee that you love. As unique as we are in life, each coffee lover has unique preferences when it comes to the region of origin, roast technique, flavor profile and brewing method. For this reason, we create coffee for coffee lovers. It is our goal to thoughtfully source, fearlessly roast, and meticulously brew these specialty grade coffees to provide you with an unforgettable coffee experience, every time. We want the best and we want you to have it, too.
Our new name reflects our commitment to bringing you an incredible coffee experience in each cup. It is our goal to continue sourcing specialty grade coffees from around the globe, to support the farmers who bring quality coffees to the table, so that they can continue to do so well into the future. From the Treelines in Colombia or Ethiopia, to the Treelines that we can't stop exploring at home in Montana, we are excited to have a new name that conveys our core values, our deep partnerships, and our relentless approach to creating coffee that fuels you to do the things you love.
To us, the word "treeline" represents our home. Our community. Relationships and experiences. Growers. Explorers. Adventurers. It represents an audacious spirit, and the quest to live an uninhibited life spent out of bounds, and this is how we hope that our coffee is enjoyed. Without limits. or more details on our name change visit Natalie's blog post.
Treeline Coffee Roasters is the next iteration of Little Red Wagon Coffee Roasters. When we started in August of 2013 our goal was simple: create an unforgettable cup of coffee. We take this mission seriously and roast unique coffees in small batches to bring you a cup of coffee you won’t find anywhere else.
The journey began on a coffee farm in Colombia when our founder Natalie was traveling on a cross-country motorcycle trip. Driven by curiosity and her love of coffee, she was inspired by her visit with the farmer, Don Eilas, who not only taught her about the growing process but also invited her into his home to show her how to roast freshly harvested coffee over an open flame.
For the next six years, Natalie cultivated her craft, experimentally roasting a variety of beans on a wide range of apparatuses. Her love of roasting (and mountains) ultimately brought her to Bozeman, Montana where she founded Little Red Wagon Coffee Roasters, now Treeline Coffee Roasters.
What started by roasting coffee in a frozen food truck, now has flourished into a full fledged roastery and cafe in the beautiful Mill District in North Bozeman. It's been an incredible journey of farmers markets, mobile espresso bars, a back alley garage and shared spaces to get to where we are today. We won't bore you with the laundry list of reasons for the name change, but simply put, Treeline is more in line with who we are today and who we want to be when we grow up (and our email addresses are shorter;).
Inspired by origin, we are committed to our coffee from farm to cup. We take time each year to travel to coffee growing regions to bring amazing coffees back to Montana. Our roasting style highlights the naturally occurring awesomeness of each bean so you can taste the difference in each cup.
